Weekly Update #84 - Recertification
A look back at the week
This week I've sat down for a catch up on the news and take stock of the week I've just had.
You can view the video here or on YouTube.
🎧 I also have the update in podcast format, you can listen to it here, or head over to my podcast site here.
In terms of Azure new it is fairly quiet, but there were two pieces of news that caught my eye. A new version of AzCopy has been released that adds preview support for importing from GCP storage to Azure Block blobs and also support for preservation of tags when copying blobs.
It was also announced that Azure Automation is now available within the UK West region giving greater flexibility for those looking to implement automation and state configuration within their cloud and on-premises environment.
For me this week I also hit a big milestone where I renewed my Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. This was my first attempt at using the new renewal for Microsoft Certification and it was a straight forward process. I'd definitely recommend those that have been notified of their upcoming exam expiry to set aside some time and do the renewal. 😊
And the last thing that I talk about is my new blog platform. 😉 After several weeks of transferring all my posts across to this new layout I have made it live. I'd love to hear your feedback and any suggestions going forward. I do hope you enjoy the new platform. 👍
